...I have just sat through Hole In The Wall - with my favourite T.V. chef Simon Rimmer on it, and then Merlin - although, admittedly I didn't pay a single bit of attention - and now Strictly Come Dancing... I love Team Cola!!
Ola is a little rocket of energy, Chris is like Tigger, bouncing around on springs and I want them to win :) VOTE.
I might have a flick over to X-Factor, but now Jedward have gone there isn't much point...! And catch the tail-end of I'm A Celebrity!
That "Impressions Show" thing is on, which I do like, the only problem is that they take the mick out of celebrities I like... Michael Mcintyre for example - I like him! He takes the piss out of himself, and doesn't need someone else to do it for him!
I might update later if I can be bothered!

Howdy Y'all...
Welcome to Emma-Kate's blog. Ignoring current affairs and The Bigger Picture, in true adolescent fashion, I prefer to discuss my own concerns and dilemmas. Examples could include: "Why I like Green Nail Varnish", "Does anyone truly understand me?" and "But why doesn't he like me?"
I'm just kidding.
It's much more boring than that.

Just A Quick Update...
...You have rather happy Kate here with you this evening. For starters, I am hopefully going to my best friend's Nanny's for the night, so we can housesit for her :) This, of course, means DOMINO's!!!!!!!!!!!!! And an evening of Children In Need, most likely :) :)
PLUS, I am on Cloud Nine as my two favourite Formula One drivers of all time - the wonderful Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button are going to drive for my favourite Formula One team of all time... Mclaren! It's an all-English pit next season and I can safely say I am delighted :) As soon as the 2010 shirts are in stock, I'm nabbing a few.
Never will I be prouder to wear the cloth of the Silver Car!
Another thing is I have my rabbit in the kitchen with me. He is currently shivering in the corner, I think he's a little nervous but I'm busy with homework and therefore cannot tend to him as he should wish. He'll have to cope - this is supposed to be exercise for him and I refuse to chase him around the kitchen.
Anyway, that's all my happy news - how are you? What's happened in your life that you are happy about?

Twiglet
Yes, the time has come readers (all three of you) for my TWILIGHT RANT!
It was splashed all over the news this morning that a new torment to my cinema was arriving shortly; New Spoon or something. One of the many teenage hos lining the barriers of the Premier said she would "totally like, die for Twilight". I nearly died of disappointment in the human race at this moment.
My sister, who is a student and therefore biologically programmed at this time in her life to rant about everything, spouted a load of poo about feminism and abusiveness. But then I thought (not that I'd admit it to her) she kinda has a point...
Think about it - Eddy, from the moment of meeting Bella, tells her what to do. To "protect" her. She is constantly covered in mysterious bruises after their dates and he essentially controls her from Day One.
Smack of an Abusive Relationship, anyone?! But Stephenie Meyer glamourises it as romantic, perhaps even a modern day Romeo and Juliet?
Now, comparing Meyer with Shakespeare anywhere near me provokes me to the point of murderous thoughts, and Romeo and Juliet is second to NONE. It promotes the idea of an equal relationship where both male+female have to sacrifice the same - love of their families, and eventually their lives, for the same aim - union.
And finally, the Number One Reason Twilight Sucks? The vampires - FLY. W.T.F.
Katesby :)

Well HOWDY ALL...
... How was your Hallowe'en? Mine was rather delightful! I went to Sophie Few's on the Friday and had a LOT of fun. We watched MIRRORS and I have to admit it was awfully frightening. I couldn't look in mirrors for rather a long time after that...!
It was Firework Night on Thursday, and I fully expect the fireworks to go on for a good two weeks afterwards, which I DESPISE! I can't STAND fireworks, and think they should be BANNED except for organised displays, they do my HEAD in. My cat and my rabbit were simply petrified. What do you think?
Now I am watching The Aristocats, one of my favourite Disney Films (:
Sorry it's only a short blog, I have loads to say but am feeling rather fatigant (:
