... This blog is going to be meaningful, so listen up. Do you trust people? How easily do you trust people?
This follows an *ahem* 'discussion' I had with my friend last night. They said they weren't "able to wait" for me to trust them, and apparently resent the fact that I do not trust people easily.
So do you think that a you can't have friends if you don't TRUST them? Are there different elements and stages of TRUST? There are some people I trust with my life, but I wouldn't tell them a secret.
Is it easier not to TRUST people, to DEPEND only on YOURSELF? Does TRUSTING people only end in tears?
Opinions wanted...

Howdy Y'all...
Welcome to Emma-Kate's blog. Ignoring current affairs and The Bigger Picture, in true adolescent fashion, I prefer to discuss my own concerns and dilemmas. Examples could include: "Why I like Green Nail Varnish", "Does anyone truly understand me?" and "But why doesn't he like me?"
I'm just kidding.
It's much more boring than that.

HEALTH WARNING!
Well, not really. Just been to Doc's, my GP is called Dr GoedBloed, prounounced 'Good Blood', so she's pretty reassuring.
Anyhoo, following my nasty nasty blood test, I went back for the results. Goodness knows why the cyberweb is being informed of my health before, for example, next of kin, but you never know who cares!
Doc said my iron levels are low and I am now popping Iron Tablets like Fizzers and I believe that within a week I will rattle when shaken. Feel free to come and shake me vigorously. Blood test in two months bleurrgh nasty :(
AND she gave me super-top-tips on how to get some sleep, and have been instructed to go for a walk this afternoon. In the freezing cold. Great. But if it is in the name of good health, I shall obey.
I am off for now, to make some cards or doing something equally crafty and sly before lunch. Oooh... lunch. I wonder what I'll scavenge from the fridge today.
Ta-ra, have a good one!

Good Morrrrnin'
Morning all, just struggled out of bed and threw myself into the shower. Clearly I am out of the shower now, that would be just plain odd.
Listening to some choons (and a half, as Roo would say!), then off to sort out my iPod with Mummy (:
Mother said she'll "help" me with the cost - so she bloody should. She put the original, now brok-ed, iPod in the washing machine in the first place! ;)
Anyway, only a short check-in this morning but will surely update you later, unless I forget. Got a lil' gathering this evening with Rubix Cube, Lander, Beardy, Tully and apparently Sion? Mmn... too long a story to tell you all bloggity-woggityerrs.

The second time won't hurt...
...Good afternoon all, it's Day Two of me being locked in to get BETTER, and I had to go to school! I shuffled over there in the cold and wet, after it was DEMANDED I came in by my English teacher. Then I hobbled home, soaked, and had some spaghetti+sausages on toast :)
Anyway, that's not important. I have become a bit of a This Morning addict, and via the wonderful media of Twitter, I told Philip Schofield so. He replied telling me to get well soon, so I'm rather delighted :)
Now I'm watching Have I Got A Bit More News For You on BBC iPlayer and looking up prices for iPod touches :)
How was everyone elses' day?

Blog Virginity...
... Well well. My first blog! How exciting is this?! There really isn't that much to tell, I've been home today all ill and sickly - AGAIN - and it's likely I'll be out of action for a while.
I had a blood test this morning, the most hideous of things. Because last time I decided to fall over a bit afterwards they had to lie me down for it, and it felt all sordid and naughty. She spent a while poking the vein with my inane shrieking of "IS THAT IT? IS THAT THE NEEDLE?!" and the poor dear going "No love, that's my finger" because she actually stabbed the blessed thing in. She was awfully nice though, as was the receptionist who kept asking "Are you sure you're okay?" as I gently swayed side to side.
Needless to say, I ended up at home feeling miserable. And ahead of me is the vast expanse of 'HALF-TERM' which promises more bed-ridden hours of moping. I've already eaten a muffin and three caramel-shortbread slices today, I'm so naughts!
Anyway, I better be off as I have to convince Mother to allow me to indulge in Horrible Histories rather than Neighbours, which I've already watched today!
Over and out:
