Trust...

... This blog is going to be meaningful, so listen up. Do you trust people? How easily do you trust people?

This follows an *ahem* 'discussion' I had with my friend last night. They said they weren't "able to wait" for me to trust them, and apparently resent the fact that I do not trust people easily.

So do you think that a you can't have friends if you don't TRUST them? Are there different elements and stages of TRUST? There are some people I trust with my life, but I wouldn't tell them a secret.

Is it easier not to TRUST people, to DEPEND only on YOURSELF? Does TRUSTING people only end in tears?

    you can't trust everyone, if you feel like you can't tell certain people every detail of your life, that's normal. Secrets are secrets for a reason so don't worry about it.

    But is it okay not to trust ANYONE? Is that remotely normal? Is it safer?

    Hmm, it's a sad situation if there's absolutely NO ONE you can trust but I would say there are also very few people I can trust, I'd say 3. And it is probably safer, if you trust no one, thn no one can let you down.

    Loving the positive vibes here. Depends on what you're not trusting a person for, rlly - is it because you think they'd misuse that trust, or because you think your problems or whatever are above their level of helpfullness?
